It's the first day of National Allotment Week and I woke up a little late, saw the anticipated temperature and the lack of cloud cover and though "Looks like a late afternoon visit to the allotment today!".
As you can see from the posts below, I have been searching YouTube for some guidance on sowing various vegetables and thought I would share the best that I have found in the past and this morning.
Because of my Gardening Press status I do enjoy getting new seeds to trial from the larger seed companies, but when buying my own seeds I do also like sourcing from the likes of Seeds To Suit, first choice Seed Megastore 2nd choice and Premier Seeds Direct 3rd choice, who supply seeds in a sensible quantity at a reasonable and frugal cost.
This morning I purchased 11 varieties of vegetable but also purchased 10 of one and 2 of another making 21 packs in total and by using the MANVSLUG10 discount code that all my readers can apply when ordering, got a 10% Discount on the order. So 21 packs of seeds for £5.40 with the MANVSLUG10 discount code applied which is what one would pay for 2 packs of seeds from one of the bigger well known branded seed suppliers.
I have always had good germination results from Seed To Suit and I highly recommend them. It's worth signing up for their newsletter to get informed when they have new varieties and sales on their already low low prices.
