Raspberry Harvesting

New larger hoops installed diagonally from corner to corner of the raised bed to hopefully put the foxes off from jumping on the raised bed as they flattened the shallow hoops and debris netting on this raise bed a few weeks ago

Looking at the hoops covered with debris netting I thought they needed some help to resist horizonal loadings from wind and foxes.

So I installed a small hoop along the 800mm narrow width ether end and cable tied to the larger diagonal hoops to give some lateral stability and resistance to horizonal forced from Basil and his mates and the wind.

All Gold, Autumn Treasure & Polka Red Raspberries harvested today and plenty to harvest again tomorrow. These were washed and frozen to be used on my breakfast of Weetabix that is keeping my blood sugars within limits in the morning.

Potting Bench cleared ready for next sowing spree

Paths were looking grim as the weeds had been trimmed so I took the Ryobi Blower to all the paths I trimmed a few days ago. Also watered the tomatoes and the Climbing Frame Greenhouse.

Square Foot Gardening Bed 1, with mares tail that has grown since the onions were harvested. I removed the multiple shallow hoops and installed to large hoops from opposite diagonal corners

Covered with Debris netting to keep the fox out of it
