This afternoon I picked up the first of a number of car loads of 450mm x 450mm slabs, however these slabs must date back a while because they are around 50mm thick and not the more modern 20 - 25mm thick slabs. It was truly a knackering experience. There are over 40 more slabs there waiting for me.
Same slabs as the photo of them in the boot, they look dark because I washed them off with a hose. I went home thinking the next batch will be laid in woodchip paths on plot 1A that have yet to have paving slabs, over night this plan changed.
According to the magic cardboard man, it's supposed to stop weeds. It would appear NOT mares tail. I extracted as much as I could before laying a couple of layers of carboard when I extended the raised bed.
Square Foot Garden Bed 1 without mare tail after weeding and trying to get as much roots as possible.
Crimson Range of tomatoes harvested and I watered everything on the plot and in the potting shed.
