A big thank you to my Son in law Andy who used my car to go to my allotment and bring home 24 paving slabs that had been on Mill Green Plot 1A to provide a muddy less access between rows 1 - 3 & 4 - 6 and 4 - 7 & 5 - 9 plus along the rear of beds, 3,6 & 9. I now have dry access on the Back Garden Allotment.
After a couple of weeks of rain I tried to harvest some dwarf French beans last week and got covered in mud and at the moment I have ulcer dressings on my left foot and leg and I'm using a special medical soft Velcro boot.
Path installed between beds 5 - 9 (Left) and 4 - 6 (Right) as can be seen beds 5 & 6 need topping up, but I'm unable to lift the bags and will need to decant the compost into square flower buckets that I can lift and carry to the beds. I need to pick up some blue 20mm water pipe for the hoops to beds 7 to 9. I also need to acquire more timber decking tiles for the patio so I can use the weathered tiles in beds 7 to 9. Andy dis also bring home 3 square flower buckets of woodchips from the allotment.
Path installed between beds 4 - 6 (Left) and 1 -3 (Right)
