Senshyu Yellow Globe Onion Seeds Sown

Confirmation that I've been short changed with the last few sacks of westland compost, because this one actually filled the 10 Litre bucket, unlike the last few times I have emptied the sacks into the buckets.

SFG Bed 2 needs weeding but no time today

Carrot seedlings showing in SFG Bed 1

Onion Japanese Senshyu Yellow Globe – Seeds To Suit 49p for 75 Seeds

Senshyu Yellow Globe Onion seeds sown into the module gizmo I was sent to trial. One additional Organdi (Dwarf French Bean) popping its head above the soil, really bad germination rate 8 from 24 on these so only 1/3rd, I will not be buying these again. Mustard Red Frills from Seeds To Suit sown in a small module germinated well

Senshyu Yellow Globe Onion seeds sown into the module gizmo I was sent to trial and two of the Charles Dowding trays I bought recently. In Dowdings trays I filled with potting mix and then covered the seeds with seeding mix. In the small honeycomb gizmo I just used seeding mix

Finally a few more Rocket seedlings are showing. Next visit I will pot on some of those Vailan Winter Gem lettuces into their own modules.

Spun the trays around and moved front to back to entice the lettuce to straighten up a little before I repot them on.

John's Pears and the raspberries are coming to an end me thinks as less to harvest and smaller raspberries. They have been fantastic this year and I have frozen loads to use on my Weetabix breakfasts.
