I went after these paving slabs on Freecycle in the morning yesterday, and when I came back home, there was a message that I could come and collect them. I exchanged details with the person offering them and looked up how to access the car park at the rear of their garden. There was even a builder willing to help me load them into my car....
And then a message that they had gone... Some one had come and collected them !??!
How on earth, one does that, double allocate a recipient of the offer, I don't know, but the person offering them did. Am I gutted?, well I was, but sometimes the universe has other plans, I'm just glad I didn't empty my boot out last night as I had intended.
Today I will get on with other things on the allotment during the morning visit, it's not as if I don't have a shed load to do down there.
