The pack on the Kings Seeds web site cost £1.30 for 150 Seeds, on the magazine pack the contents are 75 Seeds and the RRP is stated as being £1.40 so cost more for less seeds, of just made to look more of a bargain than it really is.
- Description
One of the lesser know root vegetables, this vegetable has never gained the popularity it enjoys in Europe. The roots are not unlike a thin parsnip in appearance but are delicate in flavour which is delightful. It can also be cooked in much the same was as you would a parsnip.
Salsify is often referred to as the Vegetable Oyster because once cooked, it takes on the rich taste of oysters! It produces light brown skins with creamy white flesh. and needs a good soil for best results.

Thin to a single seedling to each site as soon as possible and water regularly.MATURITY
