Beautiful the robin that lives in the Hawthorn bush near my potting shed was hopping all around me on the paving slabs as I started clearing the weeds and harvesting the radish and things planted in the raised Square Foot Garden bed 1

He then decided that enough had been cleared and he would start seeing what he could find whilst I carried on clearing the bed. A thinner robin then joined in with the search. Larry & Mo the two foxes, then came down the path to see what I was up too. I really don't encourage them but they are not scared of me no mater how much arm waving and swearing at them I do.
They chased a squirrel between Michelle's legs the other day and then proceeded to rip it apart in front of her. Not the kind of thing we want around the kids that come down to the allotment, but there is little we can do about it other than to find their dens and fill them in or dig them out when they are not in occupation.
