The Royal Horticultural Society have announced the cancellation of two major events in 2021.
RHS Cardiff and RHS Chatsworth, which were bothered cancelled earlier this year due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, have been cancelled for 2021.
In a statement the organisation said:
“WE, LIKE MANY OTHER ORGANISATIONS AND CHARITIES, HAVE SUFFERED LOSSES OF MILLIONS OF POUNDS DUE TO THE IMPACT OF THE CORONAVIRUS, AND HAVE HAD TO LOOK CLOSELY AT OUR FINANCES IN ORDER TO SAFEGUARD OUR FUTURE. WE HAVE CONSULTED ALL PARTNERS AND STAKEHOLDERS, AND ARE VERY SORRY FOR THE DISAPPOINTMENT THIS WILL CAUSE OUR LOYAL MEMBERS, VISITORS AND EVERYONE INVOLVED WITH THE SHOWS.”
Refunds will be issued within the next 21 days to those who have already purchased tickets for Cardiff and/or Chatsworth.
The organisation have also announced that the annual RHS London Spring Show will be moved in April 2021 to RHS Hyde Hall.
