In My Seed Box 2017 - Carrots

last year I had some very strange looking carrots, and I normally only grow a half beds worth, indeed the plan up until this review was to do same this year, however looking at the information from the packs below I will be sowing 7 row at 300mm centres in the following order, based on their harvest dates.

Nantes 2 - Frubund
Early Scarlet Horn
Chartenay Red Cored
Early Nantes 5
Paris Market - Atlas
Royal Chantenay 3
Nigel F1 Hybrid

If space becomes clear

Jitka F1
St Valery
Sugarsnaps 54 F1

Update as the result of a thread about blogging on the Grapevine 21/04/2017

What got me was the difference in the sowing and harvesting dates for some varieties, next year I intend to sow Nantes 2 - Frubund   Sow ~ Feb - Oct  Harvest ~ Apr - Nov in Feb and March the rest are from March. It's also made me think about what other carrots can be sown beyond the June July end date that most have?.

I also better remind myself that Sugarsnaps 54 F1 can be harvested well into the following year!
