I cut the grass in the back garden yesterday and today took the bag of grass down to the allotment to feed the hungry Dalek the contents of the sack, then for desert a bucket load of shredded paper and cardboard. Some watering of the asparagus beds and covering the Greenhouse on plot 1A with blue debris netting on the outside as I have not had time yet to sort out internal support and I need to provide some shade ready for this sunny heat wave they are promising.
It's amazing what you can do with some recycled scaffolding debris netting and a pack of 50 mini bulldog clips. Shading in place and ready for this promised heatwave.
The paving blocks around the base of the greenhouse are used to weigh down netting and weed membrane, they hide the timber joist and the steel base to the greenhouse.
