It's that time for the year when the seed catalogues for the new year start flowing through the letter box. It's also the same time of the year when the weather is normally nasty and visits to the allotment are minimal and although we are getting a couple of minutes of extra daylight each day, it's still getting dark early and having done my "What's In My Seed Box for 2026" audit, I now want to know what new varieties are available for 2026, as I do love to trial new varieties.
I will be posting my findings over the next couple of weeks. I have a few hospital appointments over the next couple of weeks, which always provide down time for reading seed catalogues.
