I went to the allotment this afternoon as I had a nurses appointment this morning and as I feared, the jury rigged cover to the hole where the dormer window used to be had got ripped off by the wind last night.
So I re (and I use the term loosely) fixed it back over the hole and added the rake to offer a little weight on the inner edge of the polycarbonate sheet.
Not ideal, but the best I can do until I rebuild the dormer window.
To that end the potting shed bench has had a tidy up so I can work on it and inside the potting shed which is always a few degrees warmer than out side and a lot more water proof.
I found the cup screws and some short screws, but could really do with finding some shorter ones. Assembly to proceed next visit whenever that might be.
